27th Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2013

27th Surajkund International Crafts Mela which was inaugurated by Hon'ble President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee on 2nd February, 2013. Also known as Surajkund Mela which is organised at Surajkund, Faridabad (Haryana) offers fun, entertainment and shopping. This mela show the truly Indian rural ambience. Various artists and craftsperson display and demonstrate their products. 

This year, artists from international countries are also participating.  Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgystan of Eurasia Division of Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India are also participating.

Theme of the Mela is "Karnataka"

Ticket Price :

Price of the Ticket is Rs.50/- each. For Senior Citizen and Differently abled ticket price is Rs.30/-

Parking:

This is year parking lot has been increased and allotted various parking areas so as to smoothen the traffic flow.

Parking Rate : Parking Rate for four wheeler is Rs.50/- per entry.

How to Reach:

By Road: Surajkund is well-connected to Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad.

By Air: New Delhi is the nearest Airport to reach the venue. Venue is a 20-25-minute drive from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. 

By Train: New Delhi railway station is the nearest Station. Faridabad and Gurgaon are both linked to Delhi via Railway lines. From each of these stations, travel to Surajkund, has to be done by car/cab/tourist coach.

By Metro: Metro services are also available from Central Secretariat till Badarpur via Sarita Vihar and Mohan Estate. Badarpur locality is close to the interstate border between the city of Faridabad and Delhi.

Surajkund is in the Faridabad district and 8 kms away from the South Delhi.
